Loved and Safe

HOW TO
BRIDGE
THE GAP
FROM HERE

In our region:
  • Children are over-represented in family violence incidents, which (on average) affects a local child every second day
  • Twice as many of our children are assaulted than those in the rest of Tasmania
  • More kids hospitalised due to injury than in other places
Community has said…

“This must stop. Children pay the price for family violence.”

“Community needs support to address violence of all sorts.”

TO FEEL
LOVED
AND SAFE

By 2035 every child will have:

  • Positive family relationships
  • Increased personal and community safety
  • Confidence; strong sense of identity and high self esteem
  • Secure attachments with caregiver, particularly those children aged 0-2 years
  • Positive adult role models
  • Resilience to life’s challenges
  • Access to resources and services

Every child succeeds
